Deb hails from Livonia, Michigan, where she has been a life-long resident. As a mom of 2 sons, Sam (22) and Dylan (19), she has spent much time in the community with her kids supporting their sports activities. She is particularly proud to call herself a Livonia Eagle Alum. 

Honored to be a graduate of the University of Michigan – Dearborn, Deb earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. She began her professional career nearly 30 years ago in the Michigan Senate where she spent over 8 years as a Legislative Assistant. She went on to work in various arenas including philanthropy, business management, event planning and execution, as well as technical recruiter.

November 18, 2021, Detroit, MI – Tonight at the Fillmore in Detroit the esteem community are coming out for a night honoring Detroit’s best of the best women! Among the 100 women being awarded tonight is Grace Lee, CEO of Ashford Connex, a local up and coming workforce solutions company. 

Coming from humble beginnings, Grace came to the United States from her home country of Taiwan during her senior year of high school. Working for the family business from an early age taught Grace the work ethic and perseverance she would later need to complete her degree in Economics from UCLA and later her MBA from Eastern Michigan University.

In 1995, when the internet was in its infancy, she joined forces with her husband and his classmates to form Logic Solutions, Inc., a web technology software development company. As CFO, she helped grow Logic into one of the Small Business Association’s fastest growing companies in 2010.
